Valentine's Designs

Our creative team has worked hard this past week to come up with some extraordinary specials for Valentine's Day! We certainly offer the traditional dozen rose bouquet, but if you want to impress your loved one, we have some fantastic designs that will truly wow him/her.

Season of Love

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and we would like to remind you to pre-book your orders for the special day! This year, Valentine’s Day falls on Thursday, February 14.

Each year at the shop we create a special theme for our Valentine’s Day arrangements, and this year we will be featuring sensuous Venetian Masks to accent our floral designs! These beautiful and luxurious masks have a rich history that began in Venice, Italy during the 11th century.


Masquerading, or wearing decorative masks, was a common practice among all Venetians regardless of status, wealth, or personality. The masks provided equality for all citizens, since true identities were concealed, and this ideology of egalitarianism played an important social role in the Venetian Republic. These opulent masks were an outlet for Venetians to express their true “identities” and to transcend their daily lives. Eventually, masquerading was limited to specific weeks throughout the year and the tradition continues today — in Venice this special time is called Carnevale, and in other parts of the world it has been translated into Mardi Gras. Venice’s Carnevale brings locals and international visitors together to celebrate beauty, individuality, and uninhibited passions!


We have therefore chosen to incorporate the sensual and lavish tradition of the Venetian Mask into this year’s Valentine’s Day designs. These masks complement our flowers beautifully and will certainly be an extraordinary touch for your special day!
